I Am Urban Digital Poem Collage

This art creation is about adventures in Urban Cycling and what I’ve seen through the streets of Kansas City. The graffiti says, “Schizo,” “Mad,” and “Crazy,” and then there’s me flipping them off. “I ride because I see more, I be more, I don’t have to agree no more…to be part of the gas sucking, freeway waiting, traffic cursing, Iraq war.”  Small collages are $5 or 3 for 12. The collage talks about my friend Victor, this guy I met riding. I told him I’d featured him in a poem and he thought it was cool, and he got a copy of the collage. My policy is that all people who are featured in my artwork get a free copy. The last time I saw Victor he was hanging out at the bus stop with a beer at 9 am. “I work nights,” he said, “So people think it’s wierd when I drink after work.” Victor was one of the first random people I met cycling, but not by any means the last.
